WOW.org Timeline
Approximately three years ago, I listed WOW.org for sale through the domain management backend on GoDaddy.com at a price of USD $80,000.
Around late November to December 2025, I removed the domain’s Afternic sales linkage and pointed the domain to a sales page on my own server.
On March 4, 2026, I received an email from GoDaddy broker Brian stating that, through their efforts, the same buyer who had originally submitted the USD $25,000 offer increased the offer to USD $120,000.
On March 9, 2026, I told Brian that I was willing to sell for USD $300,000.
On March 10, 2026, Brian replied with his views and suggestions regarding my USD $300,000 counteroffer.
On March 27, 2026, Brian told me that he was unable to obtain a higher offer from the buyer, and that the negotiations were temporarily concluded.
Only after receiving this email did I learn that WOW.org had been sold on the Afternic platform on March 31, 2026 for USD $280,000.
On April 2, 2026, an email from Todd Cantwell, Sales Manager at Afternic, had stated that because transfer authorization had not yet been received, USD $196,000 was being held.
